Is my new system any good?

I recently got my 92 accord lx and i got a sound system to put in it. I have a clarion deck, i believe its 220-250 watts, 2 12" MTX subs 1000 watts each and a sony xplod amp 500 watts. it sounds pretty good besides the fact that my front speakers are stock and blown lol, and my back ones dont even work, must be too old. But besides all that they bump really loud. Im also trynna get suggestions on good tweeters and speakers for the front and the back if u guys can help.

For int speakers i suggest pioneer.

I had some in my old cb and the sound was incredible.

They also hold up really well to abuse from what ive seen over the years.

That system sounds pretty solid though.

yea i love the clarion deck it used to be in my fathers Cd5 before it got totaled and the subs were in my fathers lexus before he sold it. pretty much gotta free system. I was thinkin maybe using my dads stock honda speakers from the Cd5 because they barely got used.

Yea imma put em in if they fit juss for the time being till i get some more money. So u would recommend Pioneer for speakers?? wat about tweeters i was thinkin maybe i can take some out of a 95 honda civic ex for the time being. wat do u think?

i use pioneer speakers and i know they make tweeters and mine sounds clean. i personally like pioneer though. i switched up decks to a sony xplod and i have a sony xplod sub and i like them. its whatever you like and how much bass you wanna have. everyone likes different bumpage. btw im SURE the speakers are blown. there basically made out of paper.

i know my speakers are 6 1/2 inches in the front and rear but i have an lx. i dont have an amp for my speakers and i had a rockford fosgate and i got some cheapo one at wal mart and i really cant tell the difference. kinda lame making me think why i wasted the money in the first place. pioneer is solid though and yeah the first time i put on a rap song all four of my speakers blew and it sounded like somebody was farting everytime the bass would hit LOL

LMFAO!!! yea i have a LX aswell so imma go with the sizes u went with. I know wat u mean bout the amp. my dad had a 1200 watt amp wit the subs before i got them and i went to walmart and got a 500 watt sony xplod amp for $100 and they sound just as loud if not louder. I wanna get tweeters though and attempt to install them just below the adjustment thing for the seat belt lol. beautiful music right into ur ear but then again that might get annoying lol.

yeah people have done the tweeters before. DONT listen to the dumbasses at best buy because they tried telling me what size my speakers were from there lil car look up thing and it was totally off it was the oval ones that fit in the ex i was like dude i know the size. what are you talking about. lol they dont know anything there and its all way overpriced. i just got kicker wiring cause i had a gift card and it was 70 bucks withOUT rca's!!! wtf

actually yea now that i think about it that is the best place for them... thats where my dad had his tweeters on his 96 accord and they sounded great... maybe it would be the same in mines.

Deff a pilar.

You could experiment but a pilar is tested and true.

When I had my cb I had a 400w lightning audio monoblock and a 12inch orion sub(discontinued..mine was the last of the good subs.) I also had pioneer speakers in the front and back. No tweets. No crossover. I had a pioneer deck as well. Nothing fancy. It was so simple but so hard. It beat like crazy.
