Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

EP3 speakers?

    EP3 speakers?

    Okay...well since I'm a broke Asian trying to make a living...I just recently picked upped my buddies free stock EP3 speakers (fronts), and since my are blown, I'm wondering if these will fit to my stock ones with a little modification. Anyone wanna help me out here....all help is appreciative....

    Well, since EP3 front speakers are 6.5", you'll need either LX or DX speaker pods for them to fit in the front doors.

    1999 BMW M3
    2001 Honda CR-V SE RT4WD
    2005 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71
    2015 Suzuki V-Strom 650

      Maybe... maybe not. Some 6.5s fit perfectly, others don't. If I knew the exact measurements of the EP3s I could tell ya if they fit or not.

        k, forget that, I'll just save up for some speakers at wally world, what size are ex pods up front?

              yea, I'm not sure...I'm just gonna wing it and make it fit somehow I guess...or I can just save up to get new ones.

                EXs have 5.25s.

                    LOL, gotta love these really fast replies...

                    I'm a huge fan of getting an adaptor plate/baffle and installing the speakers you like the sound.

                    If you like the sound the EP3s have, install them.

                      lol, I can't keep up, but yea honestly, I can't stand these damn blown speakers, so for the mean time, I'm just gonna install these.

                        Cool, let us know how they fit and everything turns out. Maybe EP3s are a good choice for replacement speakers for our CB7s...

                            i got some 4th gen prelude speaker pods (they mount up perfectly with the cb7 cause i test fitted them b4 hand) with the backs shaved off for mounting dept. pay for shipping and u can take them off my hands cause i wont use them.
