Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Loudest DB score in our Cars??

    just wanted to know what everyones highest score was in this format,

    subs- 2x DC Level 3 12" (600 rms)
    amp- Audioque 1200d (1200x1)
    electrical- STOCK
    mic- sealed on the dash, TL (legal)
    score- 141.6 @ 42 hz

    my goal is to hit 143 in the next little bit, stay tuned!

    I hit 138 with three 10" Kicker L5's in a sealed box with a piece of shit 1000W MTX thunder series amp..But I was using a friends POS DB reader so who knows it could have been off..

      143 on a musical burp. 141.7-141.9ish bass race style for 30 sec. car sealed up tl on dash. 4 dd 1508's Memphis 2500d(2500rms) 2 yellow tops big 3 in 4ga wire.

        3000 db, two sticks of 6700 gram TNT... Nah.

        126 db @ 40 hz, doors closed, windows up, that's the way we like to fu... Uh


        Measured in front of the HU. 2 X 12W0-8s, sealed enclosure, Alpine MRV-T707. It was a small local competition, and the only one I've done, so I don't know if they knew what they were doing.

          i used to hit 114 with 2 12 inch sony xplods in a sealed box and a 1400 P.Miller amp.

            I'm not quite sure what mine is at. But I'm currently running a 13" w7 off of a Alpine PDX1.1000 amp, in a custom ported box. I've never really competed or had any db testings ( only do this as a hobby ). Guess I'll soon take the time to go to a local shop to have them test it out. Will keep you guys updated.

                        I don't know what the loudest DB ever recorded in our cars is but I swear I FARTED like a 153.3 or something Yesterday...lol Hit so hard the Tag fell off and blew out my Muffler bearings

                          I don't know either but back in 03 when I had my 4 door, we did a rush job on the set up we ran, 2 planet audio fu series(discontinued) subs 2400 watt peak with a sealed box , 2 planet audio class d mono block 2000 watt amp dropped 148.9 db musical and 156.3 with amps on full gain at a crank it up contest!
