ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Actually, the stock wire coming from the battery to the fusebox is only 8 AWG, and the pictures posted appear to have 4 AWG tapped into the fusebox.. if that's the case, and if the amp(s) connected to that 4 AWG wire require a wire larger than 8 AWG, you'd need to at least upgrade the battery to fusebox wire to 4 AWG, or tap it directly to the battery.

Meh, it's only 600 watts, I just believe in overkill. If it gets to the point I need it to be that big, I'll probably install a second battery in the trunk. I don't have any plans on going that high power though. I'm very happy with my level of bumpiness, and I've got the amp turned down to about 3/4 of what I could get out of it cleanly.

Nz problem with running straight to the battery. I don't need to take a pic, if you pop the cover on yours, the hot wire is bolted own to the fuse block right there where the amp wire goes (you'll see it, it's a philips head machine screw). I just unbolted it, slipped the lug on my amp wire in and bolted it back down.

I managed to run two runs of 0 gauge and a run of 4 gauge wire from the engine bay to the trunk, along with 6 RCA wires and 12 gauge wire to all my speakers. If anyone needs to run a lot of wire like that I can explain it.

The 6 RCAs are because I have amps for front speakers, rear speakers, and subs, so all my stereo's RCA outputs are being used. The 4 gauge is what I first ran to my 4 channel amp, but the 2 runs of 0 gauge are because I have 2 batteries in my trunk so one of them is going to the alternator and the other to the engine block. And once I get home I might take some pictures and show how its done.
