Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Optima Battery??

    What Optima Batterys will fit in our cars in the factory location?? Need Part # Please!!

      Does it fit nice or just fit? I have almost no space to work with..aka my 10 dollar AEM Intake sight tight to the battery..so I cant go any bigger or I have to mod my intake again...

        I have a yellow top SC34 series and have no problem with fitment. I had the intake with the filter next to the battery a few years ago. I now have the AEM cold air intake and still no problems with fitment.

          does ur cb have abs???? thats some issues... but the group34 yellow top fits in the normal location.... i have had one for years now there.

            werd the group 34 yellow top is great and fits without any mods....avove all its a good battery

              No ABS...

              I thought the Red Tops are for carnking and the Yellow Tops where for Systems??

              I would like to use a Yellow Top If possable for my main battery...

              Right now I have a Wallmart NeverStart and A Rockford Fosgate Amp Cap..But I want the best of Battery I can Put in the car without adding a secound....

                  yellow top sc34 it is then!! But yellow is goting to totally throw off my under hood look!! I HATE YELLOW!! but I'll prop paint the top to match the valve cover.....Thanks guys!!

                      Never mind!! The only diff is the 34 has 2 top posts and the 34/78 has 4 two on top and two on sides....

                        redtop has more CCA's then the yellowtop. Plus it has a longer warranty. I think 6yr free replacement for mine. My yellow top only had a 3 yr free replacement.

                          if your planning a system get the one with both side and top post.... very handy man
