Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    make shure for what ever you are gana buy, if you want subwoofers make shure that their is RCA cable jacks or your gana be really mad l8er on!

      I have a Sony now with the ipod connect, dual rca outputs, and I love it. I usually get Sony or Pioneer. It's more preference than anything else. I'd pay 400 bucks for a 20 year old sparkomatic before I would give anybody $0.05 for anything alpine. Just opinion. It's all about what you like. Get the harness to plug into your factory radio plug tho, dont cut any wires.

        LOL! dude, best head unit? its got a 2 volt preout....weak.

        EDIT: sorry, u said basic, not best, my bad, but still, Pioneers for about 50 bucks more are much better then that thing.

          agreed pioneer is they way to go and thier not much money unless u want a flip screen!!

              well i did a fliping jvc for freaking 500 lets make a damn pissin contest shall we.... im pretty sure i have everyone beat if we go to amps.....

                  ive went thru 6 amps in like 3 months lmao then my last setup 2 memphis 12's and a kicker 1500 watt amp was all stolen thats wen i was like fuck it no more system for me lmao

                          Alpine if you want a easy accessible HU, Pioneer if you want a QUALITY unit, same features as the Alpines, cheaper, but they have alot of hidden features and buttons, takes time to get used to.

                          I just picked up a Pioneer 6000 UB for $179 CAD, same features and everything comparable to the Alpine 9886, which the shop here has on "sale" for $300 after 80 off, keep in mind local shops jack the price up to begin with.
