ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

well, you'll want something around 300 rms at 2ohms, im at work so cant look, but alpine would probably have something around there. soundstream too, both for a very decent price.

They are rated at 500w a piece so I would say go with something around 600 or so. Clarion used to make some decnt amps that were easy on the wallet and were class d amps. The last one I saw was like 400w and it was only around 200.00. It really depends on your spending limit. If it were mine I would say go and get the JL 500/1 and you wouldn't have any worries. I had that amp and ran 15's, 12's, and everything else off of it and never had a single problem. Too bad it got stolen.

You're looking at the peak rating. Never go by peak power to determine what amp to get. I suggest a nice 400w rms amp.

get a real amp, check out some of the smaller JL mono amps, or even Boston Acoustics. I just sold my JL 500/1 for $200. Good deals are out there, just gotta look. Craigslist almost always has good amps for sale, that's where I sold mine.

the deck is a sony explod, i used this amp in another accord with no problems, i double checked all the wires and non of them is touching anything else, i dont know if putting a bigger fuse out of the battery would help, i am using a 30 fuse out of the battery, do you think i need a bigger one?

Are you talking about the fuses in the amp, or the fuse in-line with the power wire. loud92 made a good point about the bridge. How are your subs wired?

Its the fuse in-line with the power wire.
but i think or i hope i fixed alredy. lol
i put a bigger fuse a #40 and its working god so far.
