ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Damn, you must be made of money.
Get on Amazon/eBay, order the speakers and headunit and do it yourself.

I have the same set up minus the headunit.
My speakers were both $50/pair shipped.

I'd say, no. The labor pricing is high as hell. I'd find some friends to help you. There is no reason why it should cost you 50 dollars a set to have speakers put in. A head unit, I could see, but speakers, no.

With the info on this site and some patience, you could do the install yourself and save some cash.

        Here are some links.

Shouldn't take you more than a couple hours.

But, if you want to spend hundreds more than you need to... go for it.

don't pay for installation... im sure you can do it.

speakers are simple as can be... see if you know anyone who's done a headunit install, im sure they'll help you out (or tempt them with beers, you'll still be ahead, hell, buy them dinner and you still ahead - $75 is too much)

shop around and get other shops to beat others prices... worth the running around... good luck bro

I'd buy and install the audio myself, save nearly half what they're asking... then use that money towards wheels.

Im w/ everyone else, save your money a DIY. The head unit is cake since you were gonna spend a billion $$$ on install go to best buy or something and get the plug n play wiring harness. You do nothing but take the dash kit out and plug and play! Speaker are 2 wires and 4 bolts or screws

Wow....what shop gave you that install quote???????? best Buy and Circuit city(whats left of them) dont even charge that much for speaker installs and we(my shop) dont charge that much either... I see nothing wrong with paying for services but $100 for 4 speakers is a bit high and that not including speaker harness adapters (its 2008 we shouldnt still be cutting wires, when they make adapter for less then $5 lol) thats crazy my friend

                          F/S:Pioneer Premier Deh-880prs w/ ipod adapter $220

i would definetly feel raped if i paid that much, thats crazy!!

dont do it dude, you say you dont have the time, but what are you goignt o be doing while they are installing all that stuff, most likely just waiting around. So instead of wasting that tiem waiting, do it yourself. it may take you a little longer, but its worth the money you'll be saving.
