Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Ok in the third and forth pic you can see the carpet through the back deck from underneath. That's where the speakers go. Go to a junk yard and get the speaker pods from another accord and then just cut out the hole in the deck. You'd have to run wiring for them though. I personally only run speakers up front just because of better sound so I would leave it the way it is and just put a good component set up front. I have one in my doors and plan on putting another in the kick panels. That's where your speakers would go though. Understand what i'm saying yet?

        yea i get it. i noticed the holes and wondered if there were speakers there before, but why would anyone take them out? im gonna see this guy this week to put in new dorr speakers and i'll ask him about the rear ones. the size for those was 6 1/2 you said right?

          Is that a DX accord? If so i think some of them came without rear speakers.

            Yeah his has the cutouts in the rear deck but not in the fabric and stuff that goes over the deck so it never had them. I wasn't sure if they only had them up front in some of the accords but I guess so.

              well thats unfair... mine had to be the one WITHOUT rear speakers.
              this is only dreaming but do you know if it would be a pretty easy install for those 6 1/2s cause i may have a guy who could do the wiring

                I have an LX coupe and had to take out the stock speaker pod. I made a styrofoam ring wrapped in electrical tape for a cushion seal and then went to town with my drill and 6 machine screws, it fits snug. These Kicker 650 coaxial speakers are only 1+ 13/16" deep. My window should go down lol. New Honda OEM speaker grill also!
