Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    kenwood. Sony is not-so-durable.

    My cheap kenwood amp was the shit.

    My sony amp was a peice of shit. My sony sub was a peice of shit. My sony head unit was a peice of shit.

    Im not really a sony fan

          If I had to choose between the two, I would go with the Sony. I've had a lot of problems with kenwood decks but not kenwood amps. I have a sony deck in my eg and love it but then again it is a limited edition model.

            I'd say Kenwood. Got an Excelon in my car, LOVE it!

            And, like afore mentioned, Sony stuff isn't very durable, I don't think

              Kenwood over sony anyday. Other brand like alpine, pioneer and jvc are also pretty good as well.

                Go with Kenwood. Better quality and more features to me. Sony is good for making Playstations, cameras, computers. Head units and amps???? they suck to me!!!!!

                  I have had both, and had bad luck with both.

                  Stick with Alpine or Pioneer for h/u's imo.

                        go with alpine or pioneer apline better but pioneer prob cheaper

I had a tall drink in the drink holder that blocked the front of the Kenwood. I turned the car off and the faceplate couldn't move and now it is stuck and I can't take out the cd.

                              But I know a guy who can fix it better than new for about 50 bucks. He says it is a design flaw. I love my Kenwood but that is pretty fragile.
