Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Antenna Problem? Help Please

    ok so my antenna works it goes up and down when supposed to when i had my stock radio and i got radio stations no problem ever since i got my premier deh780 deck the antenna doesnt go up anymore and i get no radio stations any one know why this is really starting to piss me off

    If you had a shop install it, it's entirely possible that they didn't hook up the signal wire that goes to the antenna.

    Otherwise, if you installed it, make sure you connected the blue power antenna wire to the proper power antenna wire on the head unit, and not the amp signal wire.

      im not sure about all that i installed my deck and plugged my antenna wire into the jack that comes on the deck and it works cause i got one station to come in when plugged but when it wasnt i lost that station so im guessing id get more stations and everything would work fine if the damn antenna would go up like it used to with the stock radio

        Like said earlier... There is a blue wire on the new deck that has to go to the power antenna wire on the car to make the antenna go up.

            check the wires in the trunk connected to the antenna.

            if not just open up the stereo again and try replugging the wire.

              He didn't connect the power antenna lead from the stereo, only the antenna (signal) lead.. that's why his antenna doesn't move up and down.

                  This happened to me too, but my brother broke my antenna so it doesn't really matter anymore...lol.

                    mines broke off from when it was up..bought it like that but everything works just fine it doesnt move up and down either and i still get all the shittay stations up here
