ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    radio help

My friend sold me his radio forr 100$. Its a pioneer deh-7700 . In order for me to plug my ipod into it I need to buy a ipbus to rca cable and a rca to 3.5mm cable. All together it comes up to like 50$ since I can't get the ipbus cable at any store. I have 2 questions. Would I be better off getting another radio that already comes with an AUX port? And What should I look for in a radio when it comes to sound quality?

Have you checked ebay for the cable? i've seen them for around 20 bucks which would be cheaper than buying a new deck.

Yea I did chek. They cost like 10 dollars but shipping is like 20 or 30 . I was thinking ill b better off just giiving my friend back the radio and not paying him the 100$ and using that 100$ to get a new radio

okay so i went to best buy and saw a pretty decent JVC deck for 79.99. it had the AUX but i want to know if there is anything specific i need to look for in a deck. ie. wattage output or something like that. i compared it to another radio and the other one was louder so there has to be something that the JVC is lacking.

well the radio it came with when i bought it was a kenwood and loud as hell. the thing i didnt like about it was that it had no AUX jack. i got this pioneer from my friend because he said it had it but turned out it didnt. i just want a radio with a aux jack thats decently loud. the one i have now isnt loud at all. not as loud as the other one

no you see i need two cables. an IP-BUS to RCA . and then i need an RCA to 3.5mm. i can find the RCA to 3.5mm anywhere but the IP-BUS cable is only available online.
