Front speakers work only on hot days?

when I installed my radio, on the way home I discovered that only my rear speakers work. I took it back to the shop, & they checked the wireing & said everything was ok. They said I probably need new speakers. One day when it was about 95 degrees I was driving & the front speakers began to work
When I got back in the car later that day they were not Can anyone help?

check to see if the wires or clamped or are touching something else. my front speakers used to stop working when i closed my door and when i hit a bump would work. i opened it up and taped the hell out of everything and it works fine now. my tweeters tend to give up every so often though

Thanx. I need to fix the window regulator soon, so i will check it out then.

your speaker wire can be loose somewhere, or your speaker could be grounding out which is why is cuts in and out randomly

a good way to check is to have the radio playing (while the speaker is off) and remove the speaker from the door. see if it comes on when you do that. some radios have a safely in them that shut off sounds when a speaker grounds out.

if thats not the case, and you are gettin continuity in the speaker wire inside the door and behind the radio, it might be time for diff speakers.
