ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

yeah i have 6.5 kenwoods in my rear deck and they are just fine u would have to modify the rear deck if u want the 6x9s to fit in the same spot its ur whip man so if u like the 6x9 go for it

if u have good 6.5's up front or components, then put a low pass filter on ur 6x9's in the back it'll sound good, add an amp of course

no, if ur going to wire up aftermarket speakers with the oem wiring u need to cut off the plug and connect female connectors to the wires the slip them over the tabs on the back of the aftermarket speaker.

The OEM plug comes apart, and already has spade lugs on it. If they are the right size, you can just use those.

I tried to look for the pods on ebay but no luck. Anyone knows where else I can find them other than the junk yards? The nearby junk yard in my areas are all American made.
                  Thanks.

I actually changed my 6x9's to 6.5 components. I like it better. But of course I went from Stock Bosch to Infinity components. So I couldnt tell you the real difference

I had to make my pods and brackets for the 6.5 to sit nicely. Wood comes in real handy It should be an easy DIY with a plug and play setup.

Remember to unplug your battery when doing electrical work. Also, have a few extra fuses, as they might blow.

Yes it will short out. But it shouldnt do any damage, as long as you fix it right away.

My alarm was shorting out, becasue I had the door panel pulled off, was doing sometihng and lost a bolt. Tried putting a longer one in, that kept blowing fuses to my alarm. I changed the bolt to a smaller one, that fixed it and no more blown fuses

Look on Craigs list, or find an Honda/Acura only junk yard. We have one here in WA and they have everything.

Hopefully they have what you want
