ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Just get a lip. That way you can have an aggressive look and you can save money for the more important sides of your car.

try my front bumper it's a stock 93 bumper another member gave me, with a 5th gen accord front type R lip bodyworked on to make it one piece. Now I'm modifying that same 'dual exhaust' rear bumper to make it look more appealing.

it takes a lot of time and patience though, and aside from getting whatever bumper and or lip you choose anywhere from $45-100 for the body filler and tools for spreading it, and sandpaper to work it all out nicely. Not necessarily cheaper than a kit but looks better in the end and you can do one at a time if you choose. But start with a lip now, if the custom look gets you, you can do like I did with any lip and make a new front bumper look down the road. Search for lips, we have tons of threads one where to get lips, what lips from different cars work and fitment and pictures of plenty of members with all of them. You can pull an acura legend coupe lip off and screw it on to our bumper, you can use a 5th gen accord lip (you'll have to cut the ends, they are a little long), there's even a diy on how to take garage door seal and make a lip out of it.

Cheap bodykits fit like cheap bodykits. Most of them will need a bodyshop (or someone well versed in body work) to properly install them. The cost ends up being the same as the more expensive, higher quality, OEM fitment kits.

If you're going to do something to your car, don't halfass it. Don't cheap out... or you'll hate it. Trust me.

yeah i had seen it along time ago but my 4 dr made me look away but maybe we can find a owner of one.

edit: if it's fiberglass i could make the side fit...

I've never seen it either... I really like it too!

I'm still hooked on the Erebuni and Kaminari kits though... I think they're so clean looking.

dude that kit is kleeeen... I've seen one person do a body kit front with a different lip to make it more subtle, the output was almost identical to that, but it was like two years ago so I don't think I could find it again.

And yeah cheapo kits suck, I had to re-shape the right side near the exhaust cut-out, the bumper is very a-symetrical and has lots of dips and odd little shapes. That and spending an extra 1-200$ usually means they also add extra layers of fiberglass and whatever finish they use, so it will last longer too.

you are correct my friend i have been through 6 diifferent front bumpers and had to fix most all them the cheap and the expensive, but in the end the expensive ones fit verry nicely, but even then not perfect,, thats where body skills come into play!

be ready to learn alot when you buy a kit, because you'll either take precaution or learn the hard way.

yea, you'll have to extend the sides to fit the 4 dr or just use this instead

It should blend pretty well with that kit

...or pay someone to install it for you. (or be a ricer with a poorly fitting kit! )
