just wondering if anyone out there knows what it would take to put 92-93 tails in a 91 lx. i like the look of the 92-93 tails better. maybe throw a few people off.

you will have to swap the trunk lid to a 92-93. Then the tails will bolt right in.

i figured it would be a little more than a trunk swap. being that the 1/4 panels on the 91 are more square than on the 92-93? could be wrong i guess.

The above responses are correct. I actually was able to salvage my wrecked '93 LX trunk lid and use it for my '91 EX. I liked the overall shape of the OEM tails for 92-93 also and they have better altezza selections (I think). If you are going to keep it OEM though, and don't have the tails for the wanted trunk lid, hit up the PM system cause I've got the ones left over from the '93 up for grabs. Peace!

I recently swaped my outter 91 lights with 93 tails and they fit perfect i love the way they look on the car!

nope. the QP's are the same for all years. all you need to do is find a 92-93 trunk lid and the outer and inner tail lights. remove yours, reinstall new ones, and done. theres also a DIY somewhere that tells you how to change the lock on the new trunk so you can use your own key.
