Which lip??

OK so I hit a racoon last night, broke the crap out my front "Spoon" lip on my 91.

So I took off the remaining pieces and slapped on a lip from a DA, it will do for now.

Anyways, now I'm in the market for a new front lip.

But, I'm thinkin of tryin something new.

Should I go with the CD5 "Mugen" or Legend Coupe Lip.

Would I have to cut the edges on CD5 Mugen lip or does it just fit.

Is it the same for the Legend lip. Thanks!

Hey i know there is no selling in the beginners forums but I have a spoon lip that i may be selling here in a few days if you want that again? I bought a legend lip and if it is what im hoping Ill take off the spoon and put it on

Yeah the CD5 lips need some trimming. Legend lip it's a perfect fit. You just need self tapping screws.

Where in bay Area are you? I'm in the bay too.

I would say go for the Legend lip people who has them claim that takes the beating prettey well the Legend Lip from a Coupe will bolt right in.

I dunno about the CD5.

I looked at the Lip Sticky but the Legend lip wasnt listed.

Yeah I'm prolly not goin to go spoon again, ive had it since '04, thanks for the suggestion tho. But now I have a good excuse to get a new one haha.

Well looks like I'm goin to go Legend coupe lip. They are about the same price as a spoon one, and from what it sounds like they hold up better.

Arent the coupe ones hard to find at junk yards? That sounds like the general theme I keep hearing here.

But the 91-92 Legend Coupe is the best fit?

san jo junkyard pretty big.... if ya have any questions talk to FuncOvrForm about the 2 lips, he owns them and a few others. he has the legend one on right now.

Speednstyles has a few different types of lips. ABS, CF, Mugen....NAiL05 has a Mugen replica/style and its pretty phat. If i dont go ABS-Mugen, or mugen replica, im going legend coupe. And around here, finding them is a bitch. If worse comes to worse, Im sure the Acura dealer will hook you up.
