ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

the only really custom front bumper on here is bille's civic bumper conversion. other than that people havent done much but add jdm fogs and intersection lights. if you have an idea do it. even if its similar to someone elses idea you may do it better. and once you post the diy everyone will copy anyway.

Im actually leaning in the same direction. I have lots of experience with fiberglass and my bumper is already messed up, so i need to replace or fix it anyway. my only concern is the fiberglass sticking to the rubber (i think thats what it is) of the bumper. Its fun to get creative tho. good luck with yours and definately post some pics so i know not to copy yours. lol.

hey guys i do this as a profession....lol.........me and my buddys take old bumpers and mount other bumpers to them.......my buddy last weekend just did a stock evo bumper onto a 91 talon......it looks amazing....lol......dont mustang lips on tercels.......accord fiberglass lips on civic bumpers.........accord lips on other cars.........etc etc.......all u have ta do is cut in the right spot......rivet the 2 pieces together........grind the 2 bumpers overlap down and than fiber bond over the 2 overlayed pieces of bumper.....just make sure u use some type of plastic permotion adhesion and some flex additive...........it comes out awesome.....good luck!
by the way i took a stock bumper cut out the grill and made my bumper look like a buddy club air dam in the center....then cut slots in the bottom of my bumper to house my greddy lip that i made fit not only flush but p[erfect....lol looks like it came with the car.

bumper
hey i was actually thinking of doing this today. I have this gutter guard mesh stuff that i got at my local hardware store. I know everyone uses it for their girlls, as did i, but i though maybe i would use it in my bumper. I have a 93 accord and in the front bumper there are two holes so i was thinking of putting it there and maybe cutting away some of the black stuff, hard to explain. ime not too sure how it will turn out, i was considering cutting out the middle white piece like people do for mounting an intercooler, which i will eb doing soon , ill post a picture of what im talking about and maybe a picture of it done.
sorry about the shading, its an old picture, my cars lowered now
hope it helpss?
