Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Sunroof question

    my 93 accord is the lx model and it doesnt have a sunroof. Is there such thing as installing one and are there any parts out there? any help would be appreciated thanks.

    You can add an aftermarket one, but there is a chance it could leak.

      Well its a good question because i also want to do it. First you can do like the man above says and go after market, or if you can find someone who knows how to put in the OEM one you could have him do it. many times the dealerships had a technician that put in additional parts, that they didnt put in from the factory. Like sunroofs, spoilers, etc. Check your local Dealer and see what they tell you, but dont expect to be lowballin on the price, the dealer will rip you a new one. Good luck

        ive got a ex sunroof motor harness switch :P just have to get a headliner and have someone cut the hole in your roof

          In my humble opinion, your best bet would be to find a donor car. Preferably an EX from the junkyard and bring a saw with u, you're gonna need it. don't forget to grab the electrical harnesses.

            Its not worth the effort to do it IMO...It will more than likely leak....It wont work out as well as you plan....If you want a sunroof the easiest way would be get a car with a sunroof.
