ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    15 inch prelude rims!

    Hi guys,
I have a question on the Prelude wheel
    like this one

and people are saying that I need to change my suspension bla bla bla.
I read a lot on that and I'm still confused... I know that the 16 and 17 require new suspension but how about the 15? Do we only need to change the tire only or almost everything?

    my tire : 185-70-r14 , 4X114.3

You DONT have to change the suspension to replace the wheels. Even with 16, 17, or 18 inch wheels. Just put them on, and your done!

and BTW, I have those same wheels for sale... Check out my thread! http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=80404

Wish mine looked as good as that picture.
But yeah, they're a close fit, but they do fit.
I do have a problem though with backing up at full lock (left or right), where the wheel weights get scrapped off on the washers to the sway bar end-links. I do have a steering problem now, so maybe it was the issue all along, as I don't think I've heard of this problem from others.

One help was to use stick on weights that go on the inner surface of the wheel. A thin wheel shim would help, too. Glad to know its not just mine.

Anyways...lets see 'em installed! OH, I'm running 205 tires with plenty of clearence

I am running the ludes with 205/55-15 I believe. There is no problem with fitment other than the fact that the rims are WIDER than the OE accord wheels. Because the backspacing is the same though, the front rims inner edge is VERY close to the spindle/control arm assemblies. So close, that you may knock off those standard lead clip-on weights that the tire places use. I have a set of 5mm spacers on all 4 corners to deal with this issue.

I can't tell a difference from the stock steelies with 195s to the si wheels with 205s in acceleration (depending on conditions/traction). Summer MPG has been 32-33, so I don't think weight will be a big deal for him.

you need different tires for 15 since you only have "185-70-r14"
