ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I got a wiring harness that pretty much plug and play except for it needs a switch spliced in and needs a relay

Oh did I mention that the wiring is for h3 fog lights. not the h3c
      Maple50175 - you're annoying =P
Brandoncb7 - I don't mean to come across like an ass but I see why you irritate Aaron now.
JoshM - Crotch rocket = chick magnet.

i just got my fogs the other day thanx nick. to install them on to the bumper is easy just take a sharp knife or razor blade and cut those black templates out on the bumper its pretty easy because its already has small hole around it so u can stick a knife in to cut around took me 15 min to put into the bumper

You can go to junkyard and get a bumper of off a 92, 93 CB7 in my opinion the 92 93 bumpers look a lot better then the 90 , 91 ones. If you get just the bumper cover i should cost no more than 50 bucks. What ever you do good luck.

                All positive imput...

It's been a while but here goes, I have the fogs mounted on the bumper, and the switch mounted on the dash... is there an aftermarket harness that will fit it? or must make one? Can I get one from a donor car?
                Anyone done this before?
In this case I think if plug n' play is available that's what I'm gonna do.
Anyone with fogs, imput is welcome and much needed. I'm no good when it comes to wiring and I have absolutely no knowlege of electrical or electronic circuits circuits...
I repeat all positive imput is more than welcome and will be greatly appreciated. I gotta try and post some pics up.

                          aftermarket harness

much to my surprise (women do that sometimes... lol) my GF got me an aftermarket harness from Pepboys for about $20.00.
I hooked it up 3 days later when she started noticing that I was ignoring her show of affection... so I wouldn't upset her (hell hath no fury like that of a woman scorned"), she was trying to be nice so.... installation was fairly simple.
I mean the hardest part was threading the wires through the firewall... did that with a coat hanger... fogs work fine...
I can turn them on without the high beams, without the driving lights, hooked them onto the parking lights circuit. I haven't quite figured out how to use the factory fodlight switch though... it has 5 wires coming out of it while the aftermarket switch only has 3... anyone do that?
I'll try and post some pics of what I did. But you know me... I don't have time for the camera.
