ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Shift Boot

Anyone know where I can get a Honda OEM CB7 shift boot? I see Integra Type R OEM boots all over eBay for $25 + shipping. Anyone know if these boots will fit? I'm not really all into the Type-R or JDM thing, just looking to have a clean interior.

Hey you can go to a local Honda dealership to buy a new black boot. Or you can go to a pick-a-part junkyard and buy it cheaper there. The ITR JDM boot/red sitiching (Integra Type-R) does not fit. The CTR boot/red sitiching (Civic Type-R) fits our manual CB7, I got it on my car so for sure it fits! Aight hope that helps, laters.

I know off brand shift knobs come with adapters. I'm talking about OEM Honda knobs.

ITR shift boot fits. Whoever said it doesnt needs to do more research. Shift knobs hondas are all the same. If I recall the pitch deal is 10x1.5 something like that. But anyway as long as it is for a honda it will fit. If you want OEM though they are all interchangeable manual knobs that is.

Hey, I did do my research and even bought both ITR and CTR boots. The first one I bought was an JDM ITR because people said it fit. Example of how the ITR looks like:

Yes, it did fit on a CB7 accord, but the end tab brackets didn’t fit flush/or work well with our CB7 center console bracket. So I had to return it and got myself a JDM CTR. Example of how a CTR looks like:

Notice how the end tabs till in a angle and have a hole prefect to line up with the CB7 center console! I wanted something that would sit perfect without any modification. Plus the CTR boot dimensions are more perfect for the CB7 console then the ITR (Yes there not exactly the same size). And also ICB website mention that the CTR would fit the 90-97 Accords not the ITR ones, game.
                Hi

Ive seen people run the ITR ones no problem on this board. And even if it didnt fit it really is not hard to modift a bracket on those things. Just make sure you get a DC2 one. As I recall 91accordexr is running one and hes a local. Some people talked about installing the dc2 shift boot on here from quite a while back.
