ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

            Dash installed

I still have a few things to tighten up and I need to get a new temp/fuel gage but other then that here is the install. I will make a new thread for it but I figured I should post it here real quick because I mentioned it here.

I am color matching the upper trim pieces to the color of the new gray, that is why they are missing, and the driver side door panel is being prepped for new vinyl. The door panels will be black vinyl and have gray inserts (same color as the upper trim). I hope...

i was reading and it said u used 36 sq feet of dynamo. is that includingi the trunk area as well?

                notice any decrease in noise....

you probably answerd anyway already, but make me feel special =)
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

                  dynamat

the bulk pack of dynamat comes with 36 sq feet. I have not done my trunk yet because I have been redoing the interior and preparing for my stereo install. Sorry for the confusion. I did the area under the carpet with less then 36 sq feet though. I should have the majority of the interior back in the next few day then I can tell you how well it blocks road noise. Hope that helps.

Its a 90 so it has no airbags which should drop the price but the cheapest i can find it is still over $1000.

i've steered away from the dynamat. some things yes you get what you pay for others you can get away with using cheaper products of the same quality. i used dynamat in my z24 a long time ago n damn it was expensive. i did my cb in a combo of undercoating and home depot home style sound deadner and alot cheaper than dynamat i got the same results. i look @ dynamat as they were the first to mainstream sound deadning material so they feel they can jack up thier price's and just because chip foose uses it means they have celebrity sponsorship to where. some kid goes " chip foose uses it so it must be good" lol no pun intended. just my .02 to each thier own id be down for a sound deadner installation but i feel it's one of those things where if you cant figure it out yourself after you've ripped out your carpet and seats. if you don't have the commen sence to figure out how to lay it out then u deserve the darwin award.
