We build japanese cars so why not put japanese parts on them...yur just making the car the way it should be and was intended to be. Also JDM parts are so unique and clean its just a different way of modding a car and still retaining a mostly factory look...everything looks like its supossed to be there and since its oem it all fits correctly.

I like JDM parts... but I hate when people think that if something isn't JDM, it's crap. JDM one-piece headlights are cool... but the USDM headlights are cleaner (the JDM ones fog easily). JDM stuff like the bumper pole and power folding mirrors are pretty much useless in the US, but they're interesting to have. Stuff like the SLIGHTLY different fogs and tail lights are cool because they're only appreciated by those who really know their JDM stuff, but why? Why pay $200 shipped for a set of tails that 99% of the people that see your car (tuners included) won't even notice are different than the USDM parts? If you like it, great. But don't tell me my car is inferior because I don't have them!


Also, JDM aftermarket parts are NOT always better. Many of them are, but the US companies are starting to care about the Japanese cars a bit more, since there is a definite market.

JDM is just an excuse to make something outrageously overpriced.

yeah i was thinking the same thing. but i would like to have a bumper light like JDM hondas. anyways thanks for the post yall. its been great.

There are certaing things that are JDM that are just nice to have and that people will notice, but for the majority the stuff is way too overpriced, but I can see that changing soon since there is a lot more JDM stuff circulating around for sale.
