Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    detachable steering wheel ?'s

    hey yall i just got a h22 and other goodies and i dont want my baby to get stolen so im looking for a good inexpensive detachable steering wheel so if anyone knows of any or can give me other ideas that would be grea....

    i bought a wheel and kit off ebay

    the quick release is cheap

    so nothing from ebay

    NOW next time ill go to and i recommend you to
    SUMMITRACING.com the release kit is 100 bucks
    and u gotta get the HUB for the car like 15 bucks.
    and a steering wheel. O ya our pattern for after market wheels is 6 holes!! good luck friend
    heres a pic of my wheel. only 26 bucks off ebay. as far as the quick release i wont get it off ebay only from summit or jegs

        actually i used a rust paint it was left over from a bike i was painting, and i used it jus did the normal prep work and primer...

        and i painted it on. let it dry and never chipped
        had it since 03 or 04, wat makes it ugly 2 me now is that the white is real dirty i wanan redo it or go with a blk and alien green color

          Get something reputable that feels sturdy, not something that feels flimsy. The steering wheel is an important item.

            yea man i like that paint im gona go black n red most likely but yeah man i imagine it pretty important but i juss need sometype of security i live in apartments an i gotta h22 i ve no alarm an not much money so yea thanx for the help

              I'd worry about losing the airbag, but if its a 90/91 I guess it doesn't matter. Nice wheel

                  why not just go with steering wheel lock?
                  the one from gas padel to steering wheel..
                  or the other kind..
