ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I sprayed my entire carpeting with Duplicolor's Vinyl&fabric spraypaint (black)
It fades in the spots where you step on it the most, but floormats make it all better.

yeah, I don't really recommend it for a nice car either. I painted my interior in my 4Runner with the Dupli-Color spray and while it looks nice at first, it wears really fast if you actually use the vehicle. The vinyl/plastic parts look alright, especially if you clearcoat them after, but you can't clearcoat carpet so it'll just wear out. Oh, and for me it was like $6 a can and took like 25 cans to do the whole interior properly (it was an SUV so maybe less for a car) so it takes a while and costs a fair bit. Better to buy some of that OEMish Ebay molded carpet replacement. I plan to do that when I Dynamat the floor.

the best way to go is to dye it. i painted mine and it looked goog but made it stiff and alot of spray paint.

Hey peeps, couple of you memntion to "dye" the carpet instead of painting it. What's the process of dying the carpet, where you go to do it, and how much would it cost? Thanks, bye.

I dyed my grey carpet black with tie -n - dye paint dye which came in can but it wasnt spray paint. Its faded a little in certain areas but it has help up pretty well for 2 years. I will be buying a different type fo carpet dye in the near future or just fork out the cash and get a brand new black carpet from ebay. DONT use regular spray paint on your carpet...you have been warned.

I sprayed my carpet and it looks like sex. Straight sex.

However there are some pros and cons:

Pros: Fast, pretty cheap, Looks good in low traffic areas.
Cons: Carpet is stiff, wears out in heavy traffic spots (like the divers side near the pedals)
