ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

i do not recommend using wheel paint remover on your door panels. Depending on the chemical makeup, the solution could eat the plastic or cause unforseen problems like bad cohesion for your next paint job, fisheyes in the paint, etc.....

The sticky stuff I would just sand off, so i'm no help there. Im sure theres a ton of products that can get it off. Just make sure if you use some product to get it off you wipe the area with some sort of Prep-All before you paint.

Also, i recommend if you're spraying your interior panels to spray a layer of Bull-Dog Adhesion Promoter.

Laquer thinner on a rag will remove spray paint and won;t eat the plastic as long as you don;t leave it on there for a long ammount of time..

alright i work in a body shop and yes laquer thiner will remove the raddle can paint... but when you do this have many shop towls ready.. and only wipe in one direction, side to side no circles it should also take the glue off with some mild pressure.. now get a prep all cleaner and clean clean clean,, i recomende grabbing a tack rag while your at it,, because what good is a paint job even if their aren't phish eyes the amount of trash in the air would really ruin the look

the glue is very difficult, i tried using goop off but did remove lightly, but i think you should try a combo of sanding and a remover.

the thinner you sandd the glue try to use the remover, hope this helps

Try the orange cleaner and Goof Off cleaner with a plastic paint scrapper/spackling blade. It might take a couple of applications but it works at getting the old glue off. Just let it sit for a while each time to dissolve the glue. Post some pics of before and after. lol
