The cam seal on my engine(F22A) blew, fixed that, and now the main seal just went blowing oil all over. I want to do an engine swap and was and was thinking B class engine. I pretty much new to the tunning, just getting in to it, any advise for a greenhorn. I hear the B class is a good tunning engine to start off on (lots of bolt on). Any advise would help. Thanks.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

any B series engine swap would just not be worth it man. unless you have a ton of money laying around, you cant really make these swaps worth it. here are a couple reasons not to do it:
as already mentioned, you have to do tons of fabrication work to get the engine in there properly and safely.
the B series is aimed towards cars that are a lot smaller and lighter resulting in smaller numbers all around. even a B18C engine out of a ITR will not have as much horsepower or torque as a H22 you can get for half the price.
it all depends on what you plan to do with your car. but if you have the time and money to pull a B series swap off successfully, then go for it.Originally posted by deevergote. And please, for the love of God, type like a human being!

there are a lot of easy tuning and modifications available for the F and H motors. Stick with the motor thats built for your particular cb7 chassis, that's the H22, H23, F22 and sometimes f23 (okay and f20a blah blah blah). Sorry to hear about the constant problems you're getting- but g'luck whatever you chose90-2D 5spd. Turbo/Shaved/slammed/kitted/4200watts/laptop&Tvs...
