ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

the use of wax is not to just show off some shine,, it seriously creates a thin film to help protect the paint from everyday eliments..

i painted my car almost 6 months ago and i haven't waxed it yet but soon i will be after i wet sand and buff any orange peel out.

i agree your car does have clearcoat and it seems to be in a half way salvagable state. just needs a good buffin.

Why the hell would you use dish or laundry soap? It's a car, not a plate or a pair of jeans! A bottle of car wash soap is only a few dollars... MUCH cheaper than a new paintjob!

Because he is young and it was there! Been there done that. Should always follow up washing with a good waxing. I have been using a liquid with carnuaba wax then do a paste wax after.Time consuming but looks good when done.

I used it when I was a kiddo. It brang out the shine in our 1990 Caravan lol. Haha but i slowly evolved to actual car wash soap. It sucks I cannot use it here because no available hoses so I gotta run to local car wash and do it. Kinda ghey but oh well its better than nothing.

I HATE AZ for washing/waxing cars. You either have to wake your ass up at like 5am just as the sun's getting up or do it at 5pm when the sun's setting. In the middle of the day, you dont even have 5 min before each panel dries up. Yeah so far, my car is looking pretty good, minus the hood which looks a little dull in the center (could be from engine heat) and the roof right before the sunroof section. Whatever I do, washing/waxing/clay baring, it still looks the same.
