ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Is Dropzone springs, shocks, and struts any good

Hey guys my rear upper control bar is showing and it is scraping when i hit a bump if somebody is sitting on the back seat does it matter that it is showing? I want to lower my car but i need to know what i need to do. i saw on ebay they have these Dropzone Shocks, Springs, and Struts, it lowers the car 2.5 in front and 2.25 in back i will get all of these for 279.99 and shipping is 49.99 is this a good deal i mean will they last i dont really have alot of money ya know but let me know if yall think this is a good deal?
If you want to see it just go to ebay and type this in help me out thanks guys. (New DropZone Racing Struts/Shocks+Springs 90-97 Accord)

for $330 you could spend your money better. For example, for $200 shipped off ebay you could run Neuspeed Race springs over OEM struts for quite awhile with no problems, which is about 4000x better setup than DropZone. Talk to AccordtunerZZ, he's not having so much fun with his Dropzones, then talk to Owequitit to hear why Neuspeed Race's are amazing.

Dropzone Springs aren't bad...I don't know about the coilovers...but the springs are pretty good, was a good ride until the shocks blew. Lowers about 2.25 all around.

ok, heres a link for a place online that sells them for $215.00 shipped

technically we're not allowed to post ebay links, but if you search for Neuspeed Race 93 Accord, you'll find them for $200 shipped.

you can definitely do it yourself, just rent you a spring compressor from Autozone and you'll be all set

yeah, they might not be BAD, i mean theres a bunch of springs out there that aren't BAD, but for the money theres better options.

dont know if this answers the question, but i have dropzone struts, and i dont think they are all that bad. i havent noticed anything wrong with them in the past 2 years they have been on my car. but also, i have nothing to compare it to. i did however get the complete kit with the coilovers, and lets just say i had the coilovers on for 1 day and bought springs. coilovers-no good.
