ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    aussie differences Exi

the differences between the US and aussie spec models are as follows-
the EXi came with optional 4 wheel steering, and had a standard automatic trans. There were also no airbags (unsure if this was an american option) and rear brakes were disc as standard on the EXi. There were no coupes available for sale. Available colours in australia were black, white and purple. They had a smaller turning circle due to the 4WS. They came with optional leather and cruise control as well as moonroof as standard. Capacity of the fuel tanks is 50L and economy on the highway is estimated at 8.4 L/KM. They came standard with 15" alloys and have side indicators that are lacking in the US model. Anything i have missed or misrepresented please let me know. I have posted this as a help to anyone down under. Any feedback is more than welcome.

    cheers

    vinnie

      4 wheel steer

yeah 4WS was an option over here. At low speeds the rears turn the same way as the front wheels to make parking and U-Turns easier. At high speeds the rears turn the opposite way to make them handle better by swinging the back end around

to sum it up, its mostly similar to the JDM CB3/4 CB4 = 4Ws.. thats nice, to have it officially sold, not grey imported, like most cb2/4's in Malaysia.. no warranty..

yeah, coupes would be cool. Its a shame manuals are so hard to get hold of in australia as well. I have seen a few wagons floating around but very rarely, i think i have seen 2 in about 4 years.
