ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Questions about fixing fucked up front end

Ok so here's the story; i pulled out of a parking lot and got swiped by someone and it took off my front bumper the DAY I bought the car about 6 months ago. It totally fucked my bumper, bumper cover, bumper supports, left headlight, and left a nice dent in the front left corner of my hood. Didn't touch the left fender at all and everthing else is pretty much good.
What I did to fix it temporarily was get new bumper supports and bumper and the foam piece underneath the bumper and put the bumper cover back on because it only has a crack on that side and was better than putting something a different color on, and I also put a new left headlight on. Now my problem is the bumper wont sit all the way in or something. Like I put the new bumper supports and bumper on but it sticks out too far and you can see the inside edge of the bumper. I took it to a shop and they said it would be over $1k to fix it as good as new and I REALLY don't wanna spend that much but I want it to look normal at least. What else could be bent that's making the bumper not sit right? and does anyone have any suggestions. I have some pics but none from right after the accident or anything.

I'll get some better pics posted later if that would help.

can you get a picture of the area? maybe remove the left headlight and corner light and take a pic? i dont really understand what you mean by saying it doesnt sit in all the way, in the first pic your bumper looks like it sits in fine on the right side, looks like on the left side its not up under the headlight though, i dont know, need to see better pics to make a suggestion.

As mentioned take a picture of the damage with the hood up and such and lights off so we can see what else is fucked or bent.

It rained today so I didn't get take the headlights off. I was reading some stuff and I think i may have got a 92-93 headlight on the left to replace the old one on accident, but I plan on replacing both of them anyway so that's not a big deal.

ok well first it does look like a different light, so it might have been the wrong year. It seems like on the passenger side the bumper cover isnt screwed into the holes underneath the headlight. Really need to see under the headlight though to tell whats going on. *side note* you need new tires , or at least a new passenger side tire

That tire wear is only on the outside edge. Its left over from when I had bad camber, and I switched the tires from left to right so I could keep using em. And I'll get pics of behind the headlights next chance I get.
