ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Front end conversions are a big undertaking. I went down this road a long time ago when front end conversions were all the rage. It's best to start with the hood which usually involves customizing hinges to match not only the width of the new hood, but also the height to make it match the height of the fenders. Once the hood is centered and bolted, it should act as your point of reference for everything else. Fenders usually have to be cut to widen or narrow the hood opening to match the width of the new hood. Your old core support should be cut out, and core support from the new front end will need to be mocked up with headlights and welded in. Then the real fun part is cutting fenders to splice in the front portion of the new fenders into existing fenders of the car while keeping the wheel arch centered over the wheel and not distorting the arch. This isn't a complete step by step by any means, but hopefully this sheds some light on common hurdles in front end conversions. From chassis to chassis, nothing is going to be a simple bolt on driveway opperation. Lots of cutting drilling, welding, body filler etc. As far as cost, when I was doing this type of work, I would charge 30+ hours of labor for something like this. Labor rates will vary by area and quality of work. If someone quotes you less than $1,500 +parts, I would be vary weary of their quality.

Please don't dig up 9 year old threads. People are now going to be commenting on the first post, not looking on page 2 for a current reply.

No Integra parts bolt up perfectly, or line up to look right. It requires major custom work.

To answer your second question, please read the rules. It's called a signature, and you are not allowed to have one yet.
