ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Civic hatches have their rear seat latch on the corners of the seats, not the center like the CB (except the wagon).
I don't see this being very safe.
Actually I don't honestly think any seat swap that doesn't use all 4 original holes is very safe honestly. Seats are one thing I would never cheap on or rig up.
Yes, I have a seat swap, and yes, I used all 4 stock bolt holes.

I wouldn't fool around with seat latching positions, but I care about the safety of my passengers. I was working on putting wagon seats into the sedan a long time ago, but I abandoned the project at the time because I couldn't figure out how to properly mount the latching system.
Why screw around with safety related things?Last edited by AccordWarrior; 05-10-2013, 05:13 PM.

yeah, I have Eric's old seats. even the back seat (which is a from a coupe) fits in my sedan, with the side bolsters from a sedan with leather that is.

thats the thread that has pictures of my seat swap. Id honestly try to get seats that arent power, since you need to remove ALOT more stuff to make the swap work properly if they are. I had to take the whole seatback padding and leather skin off, and swap it with the one that was on my original driver's seat. The passenger side wasnt power, so it was a simple seat rail swap to keep use of the auto belts.

Honestly, Id rather have the two bolts in the BACK bolted in, over the front ones. at least I wouldnt have to worry about the front mounts bending and the seat lifting up in the back.
