ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    What should i do first?

Figured i'd take some suggestions from the more experienced guys and girls on the site. This is my first car, and i love it. I don't know what do first to my ride, anything you think would look good and whatnot let me know . I'd also lower it but with the snow coming i figured i'd wait until the summer. Here are some pics...and keep in mind, its mostly all stock..

    Thanks in advance!

well i would say the first thing maybe I/H/E??

Its a very clean car, looks like a great starting platform and i agree on waiting till summer to drop.

hmm winter is coming so you dont want to do something that might become a long project and get interupted by winter......

i say maybe get you a SRI, maybe even an Integra Type R clock off ebay, it plugs right up and it lights up amber instead of green.

Ummm does that OEM Cdplayer work?!?!?!?

Damn i wish i had an OEM cd player that worked thats awesome!!

yea thats all i can think about thats not too crazy, maybe some JDM 1 peice headlights or red/clear tail lights.

If you ever want to get rid of those bumber turn signals ill take them....i got blackhoused ones for trade if ya interested.

First, i'd do window tint and rims for a little sport look ... if you're bored of your cd player, a muffler keeps relaxing while driving, i cant anymore drive my car without my muffler, police keep told me it's too loud, but who cares ?!

if you're lookin for rims check my website ... a great set that fit tight on any cb7 ... i know that i can't sell anything here ... but a little plug for me ...

DIY things are the funnest thing to do IMO, there cheap, easy and can really change the look, if it were me, id get some amber corners, blackhouse the headlights, DIY amber bumper lights, red/clears, some OEM parts from other cars. such as... prelude steering wheel, integra headrests, sidemarkers off a car, DC2 Integra clock, the possibilities are limitless, just decide on where you wnat to start and go with it... the car looks great btw

I'd say keep it simple cuz it's a clean looking car...factory 5th gen rims, lowered, front lip, auto to 5 speed would be sweet. If you want info on the transmission swap, search on this site cuz theres alot of helpful stuff already. A clean sound system is always a bonus too.

I'm really intrested in the auto to manual swap, i'll have to check up on how much $$ that will cost me. With track going on its hard to work too many hours, so i might have to start out with some small things first like the integra clock and such.

if you do it yourself, you should be able to find the transmission along with everything else you need for less than 500.

an auto to manual swap shouldnt take more than 3 hours more than a normal engine swap(if no welding is required, then it should really only take about an hour to 1.5 hours more).

Nice starter car! Very good condition. I bet the Acura dealer guy kept good care of it.

the first things you should work on are things that you cannot really see.

                            1. Check all your ball joints...if any of them are questionable...replace them.
                            2. Check your suspension system...try a mild spring/shock combo...so you can use it all year without having to adjust it for seasons.
                            3. Wheels/Tires...probably the most important upgrade in any car....
                            4. Brakes: replace old brake lines with stainless steel lines and get replacemnet Honda rotors and pads. This will make it feel like a totally different car.
                            5. Finally, rebuilt engine and 5speed transmission swap. Its a lot easier to do the manual swap while everything is out...less down time. Cheap swap is the F20B DOHC with the sweet 5speed. Expensive is the H22 swap with the sweet 5speed LSD. Your choice.

just my thoughts and what I would do if I had to do it all over again.

                            enjoy the build
