Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Intersection Lights?

    Intersection Lights?

    I found a pair of intersection lights that mount in the front bumper on the sides but, they are from an BB4 Prelude. Are the intersection lights from the Prelude and the Accord the same size or are the ones for the Accord bigger? Either way will they fit? Thanks alot for you guy's help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    you could most likely make them fit but you wont be able to use the template on the inside of the bumper

      All the new jdm honda models like the CD Accord till now use the intersections that you have in your hands. This includes preludes, accords, civics, legends sabers Rafagas yada yada. I guess this is hondas default intersection lamp design for the time being?

      If you put those newer style intersections on your car, you will probably be the first CB7 on this board to do so. I had a set a long time ago and was thinking about putting them on to match the 2k bumper lamps I installed in the back...but then I decided to keep the CB7 ones instead.

      Yeah there is no template to follow...but as long as u keep it on the flat surface of the bumper, you should be fine. Just make sure it's even on both sides.

        Oh I just thought about it... are you the one that purchased the intersection lamps maybe about 2 weeks ago on e-bay? A seller listed them as BB4 intersection lamps. If they are Square like [||] then u should be good. They are EXACTLY the same part # for the CB7 accords.

        If you have the ones like I described up above that are shaped more like {||||/ then you gotta do some custom fitting yourself. Trust me it won't be that hard and u'll be unique if those are the intersections you have instead.

          Sorry guy's the lights are actually from an BB5 or BB6 SiR Prelude. Are they any different?





          These are the ones I have. I can't tell if they are different or not.

            The first picture you showed are the CB5,CB7,CC2,KA7 style intersection lamps. The second picture with the prelude bumper are the ones I'm talking about that are options for the newer generation honda vehicles. If memory serves me correctly I think they are a little shorter in height and longer width wise.

            You can't follow the oem pattern in your current bumper. You will need to take some measurements and do it yourself. Just take your time and u'll be just fine. I bet it'll look really nice! You'll be the first cb7 owner to do this as far as i know.
