ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Upgrading Suspension...

My susp. is stock right now, and cuz the front has more wheel gap than the back I wanted neuspeed sports cuz the drop in front is a bit more. Now a guy is willing to sell me neuspeed sports and KYB AGX's used for about 12000 km's from his '94. Only thing is now that they have settled he says looks like it dropped 2" all around. If this is the case, will my front and rear wheel gap be the same and balance out? Or will the front end up being higher than the back as it is right now? I really dont want the front higher than the rear. Feedback would be greatly appreciated, cuz this difference in front and rear wheel gap has always left me puzzled as to why. sorry for the long post. Thanks.

Most aftermarket suspension has the rear higher then the front.

look into k-sports or d2 coilovers (the same thing) they have 36 way ajustable struts and they are fully ajustable hight. they are also a full race setup, but on soft they still handle great but dont kill your back. a little on the expensive side but worth every penny
        New cb, new start

My front end was a little higher than the front when I first got my CB (rear shocks were blown ) and replaced mine w/ Neuspeed race and AGX's.( 4mo. ago ) It evened it out but gave me about 2in. all around.
            3 CB's gone....
            1 WK Overland....

Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

When I had my stock alloys on, my car was lower in the front than the back on Neuspeed Sport/KYB AGX. For some reason when I put my 17's on, the drop evened out (which I still dont' completely understand), but the front is still definitely dropped compared to the back.

Just a picture or two for reference.

Stock Alloys - 2-4 days of settling.

                17's - ~1 year of settling.

Exactly, and thanks for the help. I really dont care if the front is lower than the rear, I just dont like when it is the other way around. Drop is rated just like the cb version of the springs 1.75F/1.5R. Ya i definately gotta see these things in person first, he wants $350 and he a local guy nearby where I live. Price seems good to me.
AccordWarrior, drop looks great, thats pretty much what Im looking for. Thanks everyone for the help!

Ya after the first time I read the FAQ's on lowering/susp., it's not an alternative I would think about doing.
