ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Tried to amber my corners...

Hey everyone, yesterday i tried to amber my corner lights, but once i finished one of them i realized i must have used a terrible type of paint. So i removed it all with paint remover. Now today i luckily saw thats someone ambered with krylon stained glass orange, and it looked pretty nice, but my question is, how close will that amber colour look to the amber of my 92 bumper signal lights? Sorry for writing such a long novel for u all to read but i would really appreciate your help. Thank you!

ok, from my personal experience with Krylon stained glass orange.... it's more gold than orange.

And putting on multiple coats gives it a hazy opaque look.

I dunno what else to use, I want my shit looking amber.... not gold.

go to a hobby store and they have orange paint and when you paint your corners spray 2-3 coats of it no need for a clear coat it doesnt come off and It matches the bumper lights

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Ya I defiantely dont want my corners to look more gold than amber. HondaGuy1212, i really like how the corners look on your car, so i think im gonna give what u said a try! Quick question though, is the orange paint a particular type, or just any orange from a hobby store should do? Thanks!

compared to less than $10 for paint for the same look.

I used excel paint from walmart. mine came out dark cause I used 4-5 coats of paint. my buddy used my paint to do his and used 2 coats, came out very close in color to the bumper lights.

really? I tried tamiya clear orange paint and didn't really like how it turned out, but your amber corners look great.
