My first car and cb project!!

ok so i'm picking it up next saterday for 800bucks. its a beater but she runs reall smooth and the clutch grabs exelent.

first things first:
*1. cut out the rusted rear wells and weld new ones in.
#2. replace passenger fender.
#3. prep car for new paint job: Flat black with a clear coat.
#4. then a cai off ebay

if any one has any comments or tips for me i would really appreciate it.
i was hoping there was a diy on how to sand down and prime your car yourself before it is taken to a bodyshop to be painted?

Is that cobalt blue? If I had the money/won the lottery I would be looking for a Cobalt blue CB to accent my Bordeaux Red Pearl one.

The name doesn't ring a bell, but there are so many members here that don't post regularly, it is hard to tell.

You could look for him at on the toolbar at the top under "Members List."

The CB7 is a great car with TONS of potential. Just read through the forums and you are sure to find what you want. If not, just ask away.

thanks for your help man. i'v been around here for a little while so i ususaly search before just asking b/c then it kinda pises ppl off b/c you'v posted something that oher ppl have asked 100 times. hopefully when i get it i'll post some pics along the project to let ppl know.

It is called a Manga, and it is made in Photoshop somehow. A friend made mine.

my cb7 is my first car as well (even though i've had it since i was 15, i'm 17 now) and its treateing me very well, even if i do beat the hell out of it, it takes the abuse and still gets me good gas mileage, it'll prove it to you, but just remember, take care of regular maintence first before you modify it
