ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Lowering

Hey guys, I'm new to this 4 cyl. stuff so any general info about my 91 accord ex would be VERY helpful! I had an 87 s-10 with a smallblock making 349.4 HP at the wheels, so any help on how to get some power out of my Honda would be greatly appreciated. I've seen some '91's that have been lowered and i really like the look, but i hear there's a lot of complications (camber, tire wear,...etc). I would like to know what i will need to give my 91 a good stance. OR-should i just wait and wory about paint, intake, exhaust, possibly turbo, etc...? -THANX

what?? speak intelligently please. that should be a registration requirement.
anyways. get a camber kit for the rear, that should fix that camber issues. the rear doesnt really have any camber issues that i have ever heard of.
turbos are the key to honda power. that, or if you prefer the naturally aspirated aspect, then get a higher compression motor with v-tec and mod the fool out of it.

Well to lower your accord you'll need aftermarket struts(prefer adjustables), springs/coilovers, camber kit, alignment.

That way you dont have to worry about tire wear.

ground control coilovers are the shit but you can go both ways its easier to get coilovers instead of a spring/shock setup. id say go with koni if you were to piece it together seperately.. and if you know how to change your brakes then u can do a suspension job. its def not hard. i did mine before i changed my oil.

Did mine about a month ago.. went with H&R sports and KYB AGX's. I love where it put the rears, about 1 finger gap, but the fronts I wish it were a tad lower (about 2-2.5 finger gap). Plus the adjustability of the AGX's is nice.. can turn it from bouncy bouncy to stiff but nice and all the way down to pretty much stock ride feel.

i just put some H&R lowering springs on the stock shocks, and it looks great. Ride isn't bouncy at all, but the shocks arent gonna last long. If i were you get some lowering springs and upgrade the shocks/struts and you'll be set

Which H&R lowering springs are you using? Is it sport or race springs?
                        Thanks
