ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

yea u can turbo it. theres actually a guy parting out a kit that can be made to work with out engines, f22aX series, right now. but u really should search, the questions youve asked have been asnwered many times, and by searching u can find everything you will need.

Check out the F-series motor list. http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=44639
It will be one of the F22's dont know for sure which one but check that out. Also on the motor its self, there is a stamp right to the left of the headers that is your motor code. Mine is a 91 LX and has a F22A1. Will try and find a pic of where to find the code, but it is very easy to find it is just a matter of knowing what it means when you see it. You can do almost anything to one of these motors. They are very simple to add on to when it comes to bolt-ons such as intakes, headers, and exhaust systems. Spark plugs, spark plug wires, that kind of stuff is all very easy mods for a beginner. Check out some of the members rides posts and see what others have done. Intake/Headers/Exhaust are usually the first bolt on that most tuners do. Later

Look around on some of the Sticky's. I am sure there is something out there about this. Just be carefull to not round off any of your screws on the intake or then you will have a problem.

rule of thumb: the smaller the end pipe, the louder it is. flow also contributes to the sound(2.25 to 2.50 inch diameter piping)

ahh the famous assumption/stereotype that if the person asks a "noob" question regarding how to increase power in his car that he must want tons of stickers, a wing, spinnners, and a coffee can exhaust. just because he's not as smart and perfect as the people who make that assumption doesn't mean he isn't trying to learn how to make his car nice. everyone starts somewhere...and judging by the fact that he said he wanted a nice exhaust tone and not the "ricey" kind of sound i'm guessing he's not trying to go the route that you seem to think he is. i'll get flamed for this, and i don't give a shit. lol but whatever, felt like speaking my mind.

turboing it im not sure if you can, but for the motor i say just do the usual upgrades intake, intake manifolds, headers, full cat back just make your engine breathe better and youll be sure to beat alot of them hatchbacks running around out there
