ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    wiring windshield wiper leds

just bought a pair of blue windshield wiper nozzle leds and they look awesome so i'm just wondering where i put the wires. got a black one which is supposed to be for the grounder in the chassis and then i've got a white which is supposed to connect to the power source. i'm thinking i want to connect it up to my parking lights so when i turn those on, the wiper lights come on. this is my first wiring job so i want to do it right. thanks. pcitures help too.

You could wire them to that...however if the police in your area like to pull over cars for neons etc. I wouldn't connect them there. Connect them to a switch so you can turn them on and off on the fly just in case.... or if you are lazy to add a standalone switch for it, it's possible to tap into lets say like the cabin rear defroster switch or something so you can control it that way.....with the expense of having your rear defroster on too.

so where is that located because i guess i'm gonna have to cut a wire and then connect the new wire to it. my rear defroster is broken anyway. but i thought it i put it with my parking lights ( the first click for the lights) then i could just turn them on and off when i please. the cops don't really care around where i live.

Hey man, here in Toronto (no offence) but all the "messed" up Riced out CB7's have them and cops dont bother with them. Its nothing illegal i figure.

Yeah but the lights are kinda cool, depending on what color i figure and ur taste, dont take offence on what im saying though, whatever you do to your accord is ur business and to your likings, just my 2 cents...

Yeah my cousin wired his on his civic to his DRL's....it was like a 5 minute job, and quality work, really easy.

so i guess i'm doing something wrong because i'm putting the correct led wire onto the open wire/s on the constantly on corner light and when i turn the my parking lights on, nothing happens. i dunno. i have 2 choices in wires to connect, there's a red with a black stripe and then a solid black for the corner light wires. does it matter? i dunno what i'm doing wrong. i don't have a solder gun right now so i can't solder anything, just wrap around and tape off.

I used to have these when I first got my car. I was the first one in my town to have them Oh memories.

Learn how to change them out though, as you'll be doing that a lot I'm sure. I had to change mine every couple of months.
