Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

      20% on dr, pass, back glasses. 35% windshield. ALL on frost white.

        15% is legal on the back windows and 28% is legal on the front windows and above the AN-1 line.

        im just gonna go 15% all around. my buddy has that in his camaro, and when he got pulled over, the cop shined his spotlight (freakin cops here shine it right into your driver's side mirror-blinds you...) and lit up the whole car, didnt bother to check the tint.

              U guys think u got it bad... I think the limit in OH is 75% in the rear, 50% for front windows... my CB7 came tinted... not sure what %, but I'm pissed that the replacement door i got from the junkyard wasn't tinted.

              If you've got a problem, I might have an answer... or a sledgehammer.

                I vote for tint! My 96 is frost white with about a 20-25% tint and I love it because its useful and looks good.

                  Def tint. Legal limit in most states is 32%. It is ok, but darker would be better especially on white cars.

                    It depends... If you have a Valentine1 Radar Detector, they recommend no tint. Film tint has some material in it that restricts the V1 from working properly...

                      I say do like 15% all around it would really set of the white to me and if u got some ITR's that would pretty sick post some pics

                        i'll be getting 20% on my green cb7 soon, its pretty cheap here in WA. its only gonna cost about $125 with a lifetime warrenty.

                                i think you should tint it as it would look sick but as to how dark is up to you. i think i am going to go 27% on my white sedan i have. thats the legal limit here in SC
