ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Howdy from downunder

Just poppin in to say Hi..

Most people on this forum will have no idea who I am, rather noone will, but I just popped in to say hi from Australia..

Got my license January this year and bought my CB7 around the same time and have only done a few very minor mods to it since buying it..

Here are a few pics (pardon the quality):

Mods (if you can call them that) that I have done are as follows:

EXT - Replaced Headlights and High-Beams with import bulbs from Japan

INT - Tight arse floor mats

AUD - 6.5" Front Splits, Panasonic Headunit, Boss 800W AMP, Boss 12" Sub

Thats about it so far.. the main reason Im posting here is because im looking for some ideas for some quick and easy mods to my car.. Appearance wise.. I want some idea's for things to do that wont break my bank, and that I can do at home..

Hope you guys can help me out..

    Cheers,
    Scott

red/clear tails are easy to install... though they may be expensive to get where you are. I know www.procarparts.com sells them for about $110 US. Shipping to Australia might be pricey though!

You could look into getting some JDM one piece headlights. They would probably be cheaper for you than they are for us. They replace your glass lamps AND your corner lights. They're also made of plastic, so they're lighter

Check your local Honda dealer and ask about a lip for a 94-95 Accord EX. With slight modification, you can make it fit on your front bumper. It looks very nice.

If you want to raise some money for your car, find out what parts you have access to that we don't have here in the US. You can make a killing!

That's not exactly a low-budget appearance mod... though I admit, it's the best thing I ever did to my car!

For a mild investment, you can get some decent springs (H&R Sport is what I had until a week ago... not too low for comfort and clearance) and some upgraded shocks (Tokico blues, KYB GR2s... both are good stock replacements. not too pricey, and they can handle a drop).
