ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

how low to go

a good size to lower it is to go with a 1.7 front and 1.8 rear (but thats just me) and 45 tire to cover the gap but really depends on what your trying to do the must your gonna get is about 3" all the way around unless you go with a lowering kit then you take the chance of bending tie rods Cb7 you can get very low

How far to lower your car is mostly a matter of personal preference, and can't really be decided for you. We can certainly make recommendations though, based on a little more information. A couple key questions come to mind:
- What is most important to you: performance, driveability, appearance?
- What size wheel/tire will you be running (this affects the ride height)?

Well im on a 2.5 drop and im loving it on 15s on 205/55/r15's . This is good for an everyday driver theres really no need to be slammed unless you like bottoming out your car and causing damage. I go well over potholes no real nead to come to a dead stop and try to angle all the time. It feels good to go over speed bumps and not having to actually comes a dead stop or have a big fear of going down roads that are seriously beat to death. At the same time im low enough to present i have a upgraded suspension. And it handles really well.

Hey sparkle, how much differently do you have to drive with a 2.5" drop compared to stock height? Do you have to drive at a big angle over speed bumps?- Ghosty

yea i was wondering this too...just ordered my 15'' ITR's in Championship white and im going with Kuhmo Ecsta ASX 195/60/15. Someone else on here had like 225/50/15 or something like that but i cant find those sizes anywhere but i basically dont want lowpro tires i want a lil thickness to them so as not to worry about pot holes AS MUCH. Still going to avoid them. I was going to do a 1.5 at the most...maybe 2 i dont want anything more then that...i just want to get rid of wheel gap but im all about ride comfort. Performance is good, looks is good but i want it to drive good and all so my susp was going to be eibach pro and KYB AGX so with that setup yall think it will ride comfy? sorry for stealing yo thread.
