ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Have'nt had any problems with mine....Have it the same way...Just make sure you use a bigger washer for the top cable or it will pop off...
Only give advice when I know or have done it and it worked

I had mine done for about a year now and no grind'n...But if you but it up to high you can't put the console on right without the bottom cable push'n on it....Other then that they are cables and no it will not cause you to grind!!!

I just did this mod last week and all I can say is wow! I'm never going back to stock throw. It liven's up the car to a whole new animal. I was contemplating if I wanted to change the lever from the Prelude and talked myself out of it. Though a shorter lever would be nice, but the Accord should suffice and the height is nice when doing track events. The reason I recommend staying with the stock Accord lever is when racing you want the shifter closer to the steering wheel as possible so you are not throwing your arm long distances to shift.

I went with a spoon shift knob (old school JDM) and it feels great. Much like a B-series, but only better. I had a friend of mine drive my car and he said some people spend hundreds of dollars to get the feel of this setup. Whats best is, I spent a total of $5 on a battery terminal and had the bolts and washers. I do recommend anyone doing this to make sure they get a big enough washer to hold the rubber bushing inside the shifter cable. If you dont do this, it will slide out. Ill post pictures soon when I get a chance. Money well spent and anyone can do it.

                    Warning!

I had this on for about 2-3 weeks and never checked it.

This past Tuesday i had to make a a 22mi drive at night to work.
So that night about 10pm my car did not wanted to start.
friends and family told me not to go. (i wanted to go) but i didnt.
then the next morning i decided to check it how it was.
to my surprise it was ALMOST FALLING OFF! took it off after that.

I had the big washer on, the bolts(not screws) and nuts.

JUST CHECK IT EVERY NOW AND THEN GUYS WE DONT WANT ANY ACCIDENTS!
