Ideas for paint

Hi guys. I know everyone should just do whatever they want with their car but I do like to hear opinions. I am not trying to copy anyone but I really do like the black hood with the black lip and trim....man, I just think its sexy for a white car. I also came up with some ideas for more black/white combos.
I have a white 92 lx and plan on getting a paint job soon (chalky on trunk and hood). Well, I did some photochopping (to the best of my ability and know how) and came up with some ideas.

And this is with the amber turn signals (I had to photoshop the bumper lens' b/c I havent gotten the amber ones yet and mine are still clear but they will be in ASAP so the pic is a bit modified)



I got some ideas for a two tone paint job with black on bottom that lines up with bumpers as well as the body line we have naturally; the pinstripe is also another idea for a line to go by...

So, what do you guys think.
If ya dont like something let me know, like i said, i just like hearing opinions. I dont really know if I like the low line b/c it looks like a cheaper model... heh, I also used to think the black hood looked like someone stomped on the old one so you just got a hood from a yard...
The higher line looks neat but I would probabally have to get the whole car painted not just the outside to make it look clean (black outside lower part and white inside lower parts such as door jamb...)
I was going for the all white (white guards, white lower lips and such) but just looked boring after a while...Espically when i saw the cb7 on the main page here!!

I dunno if im really diggin it....like '93accordse said maybe if you get some rims...and maybe lower it, it might be a bit better.....But im partial to the frost white thing goin on....do watever you want to do tho...as long as you like it its good to go right.

you know, the white with cf hood, trunk, gm or blk rims, while admittedly overplayed, is a nice look IMO. the high body line isnt for me. the low one looks good in concept, but the colors are soooo contrasting im just not sure. maybe you should seperate the two colors with a thin middle line of neutral color, just to bring some depth to the paint scheme. and maybe do an angled line, like start it where you have the lower one started, come over the fender well and angle it from there up to the front of the trunk and wrap the trunk. i'll try and photochop it, but i only have MS Paint, but you'll get the general idea.

Bro, the body would look bad a$$ in that last picture, but don't black out the bumper, keep the line going down!

I liked the clear turn signals and I think you should keep it frost white, clean and sexy.

im going to do a two tone, silver lower with a cobault HOK blue

it will be a tribal/flame/slant graphic-ish crazy design(easy way to explain it) but the line will be around thebody line, the one on the fender and follows throught the doors and quarter panels...so its a kinda high line....but thats just me, or just do a bUTTLOAD of flake and keep it white, im loving the frostyness- even though i wash my car once a week, rain or shine, i just cant keep white clean

I am planning on Rims.... prolly the white ones from the front page car.. I dont know what kind they are (looks like Rays 6 spoke white)
I plan on doing it same time as paint job.
Dont know about dropping it though, may take more time...
Any other ideas. The diag line was ok but I thought it should have been straightbut slanted ya know?
well, I'm still open as I will not be getting the paint job till like july.

Do another photochop with black on top. I bet it looks way better. If you do go with white on top, do the low line.


No one paints there car forest green. Just a thought.

I am not a fan of 2 tone cars. I like it all the same color.

Unless your using carbon fiber parts

I agree with 93accordse, the two tone look would look a lot better if the colors werent so contrasing.

Well, TONS of people (online and work) think the all white is best. I still want the black hood and lip w/ the amber corners and bumpers.
I now know what i'll do. Thanks for the input guys!!! ROCK ON!!
