Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    OEM fogs.

    everyone seems to agree that the 9091 and 9293 wont fit on the opposite bumper.

    ie. 9293 fogs wont fit on the 9091. but why? can someone who is determined get it done? pull it off? has anyone done it?

    It's that their designed differently.If u look at the 90-91 fogs they are more squared but the 92-93 ones have like a curve.

      im pretty sure its that they wont fit anything like stock. not that they physcially wont fit. correct me if Im wrong, but thats my understanding of it.

        Yeah... they won't fit

        Plus... the 1992-1993 are "hard to get a hold of" according to 3 local shops... but anyways...

          its the curvature of the bumper...92-93 fogs are more curved to fit the contours of the bumper while the 90-91's are more squared

            Im sure you could fit 92-93 oem fogs on a 90-91 if you had the time and the want, but it just wouldnt look right.

              Someone on this site tried to put 92-93 bumper lenses in a 90-91 bumper, and it just didn't look right. The reason I bring this up is because the bumper lights have a very similar shape to the fogs.

                kinda the same thing but opposite i guess, donovan (92accordlex) has 90-91 bumper lights in his 92-93 bumper and i didnt even notice it till someone pointed it out, looked fine.

                  i'm probably getting in way over my head. i have a 91.
                  i think i have the 9293 fogs on their way to me. could i get the 9293 bumper signals put in my bumper to match the fogs then?

                  if anyone is good in photoshop or autocad, help a fellow member out, see what happens when the 9293 turn signals and fogs are on teh 9091 bumper. thanks.

                    Cant be done. You need the 92-93 bumper for the 92-93 Fogs.
                    I've seen the 92-93 turn signals used as Fogs on a 90-91 bumper tho...

                      fogs

                      a friend of mine has a catalog that has oem parts for 90-93 accords, and it includes, bumpers, doors, and i think even lights. i want fogs but i want the solid colored 93 bumpers, cuz the 92 and older have the black moldings and i hate those things. i want the solid color look with the fogs. if i can hook that up, ill let you guys know. but the best bet would be to just buy the bumper that fits the fogs you want or buy the bumper with the fogs already on it.

                        ^^ then you have to change the headlights and grill also or it doesnt fit properly.

                        so much work.

                              just buy a 92-93 bumper they should bolt right on, but then you would have to buy the trun signals and headlights and grill, but i would look nice, instead of trying to make the 92-93 fogs work on your bumper which is a 90-91, its more money but it will look factory not all hacked up.
