ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

93 EX Chrome Windshield Trim Clips

I bought some clips for my Windshield Chrome Trim because mine flew off on the highway and I found some decent condition trim in the boneyard. Anyways I bought these ( http://www.carparts.com/details/Prec...FQhafgodHwACnw ) clips and some seem to fit but some are just weird and dont look like they would fit anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find a how to of how these clips go on because I've been studying these clips for hours trying to figure out where they go but cannot, for the life of me, figure it out. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advanced!

Do you have a coupe and purchased clips for the sedan, or vice versa?

I would suggest bringing everything to a windshield replacement company like Satellite or similar. They have far more experience and might be able to help...

Those places could usually give crap else for windshield clips. I've seen them just goop the chrome trim back on with silicone. At 25 years old, these clips easily break when removing them. These companies can't keep all kinds of clips for every car on hand, so usually they reuse the ones they can and put silicone on the rest to keep the trim in place. Most people never know the difference.

Safelite had a clip set for about $10 for the last windshield I had replaced.

Jarett is correct. Safelite does just goop the trim. Thats what he did with mine. Also, Safelite provided the tech only the top portion of the trim. He had to reuse the side trim and goop it on.

              If

Far future, i will remove them and goop the rest of the area to make one solid goop piece flush with the windshield and frame. Ill tape the edge of window and tape window frame to not get goop all over my paint. Onced taped, Ill just scrap the excess with a tongue depressor. If and when i do, i will take some pics. In my imagination, it think it would look pretty clean. We will see. If not ill just goop it back on. Lol.
