ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

What is the correct size of roof rack for CB7's?

    Hi,

I was just wondering what the correct size of roof rack is for CB7's. When I search "1992 Honda Accord roof rack" I seem to get a lot of universal racks that come up, which sound like they could fit but I don't exactly trust. Specifically, I'm looking for a Thule or Yakima rack with the wind visor (not exactly sure if that's what they are called) that looks something like this: https://goo.gl/images/vAiZFp

Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.

Searching with google is the best way to go to find these answers. When looking for something specific, just enter that phrase ie "bike rack size" and then follow that with: "site:www.cb7tuner.com"

So, your google search bar would have the following: bike rack size site:www.cb7tuner.com

Google will only search that website for that phrase. It will make it easier to find your answers.

I found the below with two minutes of google searching.

Just need the clips for your car.

The rack might need to be adjusted for a correct fit.

Can anyone tell me if Thule makes 48" bars? I'm gonna guess no as I can't seem to find them anywhere online. Really dig the square look though.

Also, don't mean to triple post here, and I know you were just quoting the guy, but do you know about the fairing size? On the yakima site it looks like it should be 38" instead

All I did was copy and paste.

If you aren't sure what you need, then grab a tape-measure and measure your car. It will give you an idea of how wide you need the bars to be and how big of a fairing to get.

These aren't built for specific cars, they are built in generic sizes and you need to find the right sizes for your car.
